The Popcorn Campaign has almost ended!

Fundraising

We are a non-profit parent sponsored group. All of our leaders and group committee members are volunteers. The bulk of registration fees are paid direct to Scouts Canada. Fundraising is important as it helps support all levels of our local Scouting program.

Without fundraising, our programs will not succeed and as a result we ask for your full participation and support.

While there are many ways to fundraise, we have decided to raise funds through:

  1. Bottle Drives: The money raised from these bottle drives help us fund our various programs. Some of the money is used to subsidize camp fees, buy new equipment, craft supplies, badges, uniforms, etc. The generous support of our bottle drives from the people in the community we serve has allowed us to run our Scouting program.  Volunteers are asked to drive youth and sort.  We ask that you do as many maps as possible.
  2. Popcorn Campaign: Bring on the Adventure with Scout Popcorn, Scouts Canada's  #1 national fundraiser. There are two key aspects to this unique fundraiser: the product is high quality and offers excellent value to the purchaser. Second, families sell popcorn because they know the return benefits are great program activities.
